Is the father of the bride supposed to tip the photographer or dj at a wedding?

No. THey should not be tipped. Typicaly they have already charged for what needs to be done. If you ask them to do something different. then that would be different, but to do their job, no tip is needed Source(s): Me. Im Wedding photographer and I do NOT accept tips even when offered.

Depends what country you live in but in Britain its definitely not expected, and if its north america I wouldn't say its neccesary either

I'm not sure of the exact amount. But there are books that are made specifically made for fathers of the bride. You should check them out.
