Where and how I can get clients as a freelance wedding and portait photographer.? place ads on craiglist, check at city hall for license applicants, check daily newspapers for engagement announcements. post small ad in newspapers, place flyer's at bridal shops and tux rentals, contact management of halls that rent out space for weddings.... contact wedding planners .......... Photograph your friends and family's wedding for free so you can build a portfolio, then advertise in the local paper and on bulletin boards. try networking with other people who do services for weddings. Like DJs, videographers, musicians, cake decorators, wedding planners. wedding dress stores.
