Where can I find a photographer, near tamaqua, pa..that will come to my wedding, and take a couple of pic's? |
I just want a photographer to come after the wedding, and take a couple of nice pictures, and thats it. I can't seem to find anyone. Are you trying to save money over hiring a wedding photographer for the full event? It's going to be tough to find a professional photographer to agree to take just "a couple" of pics, because it would mean turning down the chance to work a full day for some other couple. One photographer I really admire is Scott Church of Lebanon, PA (near Harrisburg). He does great wedding work, and also is well known for his portrait and boudoir work. See below for the link to his site. With any professional photographer you have to expect to pay a fee for the time spent photographing, . You'll get a set of proof sheets or maybe a CD showing the images. Your contract may include a certain number of prints, or it may set a rate for each print you decide to buy. If you want to save a lot of money and take a chance of getting stood up or getting poor results, just put up a "gigs" notice on craigslist. Call these places. 2. Ask your friends for the names of other photographers in the surrounding area. Call them for prices. 3. Go to theknot.com. Look for your local board. The brides there will be happy to give advice on photographers. ahahahah rofl u didn't evn look.. sum wedding ur having.. Go to www.ppa.com. Click on 'consumer' and then 'find photographer'. This is the Professional Photographer of American site and you can find reputable photographers there. Good luck. I suggest visiting wedding directory such as http://www.weddinglenox.com Unlike most yellow pages, they have price comparison for the vendors (DJ,videographer, florist, and photographer) you can choose. You can also try their matching system http://www.weddinglenox.com/f-membersign... that will match you up with local vendors. I tried it and have good result as I only recieved responses from vendors according to my request. One problem I had with my wedding is that it is hard to locate vendors in most website as most likely they group by states and there are too many of them that's too far from me and I have to look at each site to figure out. The sites I provide above have a easy to use layout to show you pictures, pricing and location in one page plus, you can send out your inquiry for matching vendor to contact you. That save me lots of time to locate the best vendors with the right price. |
