I am looking for a photographer that is cheap and takes great pictures for my wedding. anyone someone in ma? |
I getting married in framingham ma and we are having a small wedding and we would like a photographer. But we don't know any that like a shoe string budget. Try your local community college... Talk to the newspaper photography department, if there are photography classes try there... Many college students would love to ply thier hobby and make some extra money... Ask to see portfolio of pervious photographs.. To cut costs provide film, have the pictures developed yourself just hire the photographer to click the photographs... do it ou self My cousin called a local college that had a photography department and hired a student. You would want someone nearing the end of their training, of course, and preferably an older student, as they have likely attended many weddings, so they know what pix are important to get. The reason good photographers charge more than a shoestring is because it's their livelihood.. not volunteer. If you get someone to volunteer and they do a great job, fantastic! But you have to accept the risk that they might not do a good job. If you want to be sure, hire a real photographer. As a photographer, I want to point out that you should be real careful here. If you go too cheap, you just may regret it. Definately ask to see some of their work. There are lots of people just starting out that would probably love to do it for you, I did that myself, but you need to make sure you look at some of their work as well as their equipment. A little point and shoot camera is not gonna cut it for wedding photography. Ask around and you may be able to find someone. Good luck. |
