Need a good photographer for Houston area Wedding but on a tight budget.? |
I am looking for an inexpensive photographer for my wedding day don't expect perfection but something nice on a tight budget. I am a free lance photographer with 4 years of studio experience, but i am not in your area, so my suggestion to you would be if you don't find someone with your question, go to a local studio, I started out in a mall studio, taking children's photos. Find someone that has a nice digital camera and imagination. I have been hired for weddings, and even took photos at my cousin's reception, that turned out better than the photographer, she hired's pictures. Go to a local college and leave an add with a professor. My sister took some photography classes in college, and they were fabulous, so when her professor is looking for someone for someone, she always asks her. Let them know you are on a budget and that if that means less photos, with better quality, that is okay. Make sure to have someone snapping photos like family shots that you may not be able to have your photographer take. make a list of the photos you want. Bride and Groom, b&G with family(put both together), B&G with sibs, separate or together. THE KISS, the RINGS, Bride and dad coming down the isle, groom waiting for bride, flower girl & ring barer, b&g with their court. B&G with grandparents, with god parents, make a big list and then combine and narrow down the list. Do skimp out too much, these are your memories. If you are going overboard somewhere else, maybe narrow the flowers and get more photos, flowers die or have no other purpose after this day. don't forget pics with the cake, and have everyone taking photos during the reception. I have seen the throw away cameras on all tables at receptions, and have yet to see any good photos from them, but you could try. Careful, most photographers will want a deposit and final payment the day of the wedding. Have your best man or attendent dealing with these things. The bride and groom should be available for congrats, and photos, not fumbling with cash or checks for all of the extras. Make sure the bride's attendant or family member is taking photos during the get ready process, make it fun, and have the grooms men taking photos during their wait, they don't really take time to get ready. lol. Remember to have a great day, have all the details done before time. Good luck. Get married in one of those passport photo booths. They're very cozy and romantic and only cost about 拢2 for a strip of four. No need to thank me, the tears of gratitude in your eyes say it all. I haven't looked at the prices but here are some links, for you to check out 1.http://houston.allwedding.com/photograph... 2.http://www.theknot.com/vs_houston_pho.sh... At the knot site I know there are a few listed there that are under a $1000.00 dollars. Here are some places listed on The Knot that have packages that start under $1000. Most places who advertise on The Knot are pretty reputable, but you still need to check with some people who used their services and view their albums before making a selection.
