Is 700.00 a good price for a wedding photographer? it is a good price, but it depends on what you are getting in the package. add ons can be expensive... like additional prints, photo albums. if it is digital are you getting a cd of photos? if it is not digital are you getting negatives?I guess it would depend on the quality of pictures the photographer has taken, what type of "package" this includes, how long the photographer will be with you, where in the country you are located, etc. I am in the midwest U.S. and talked to 4 photographers (researched lots more!) and the usual price was about $2000 which included an album with a certain amount of pictures, photog. working an hr. before ceremony until after dinner. Its good for a cheap photographer that's quite cheap actually. I'm paying mine $3500, included, leather 80 pic album, he spends all day with us, 500-800 4x6's, 3 large poster size pics for the parents, and a casual shoot b4 the wedding Yes very good indeed - the usual starting price I see is about 1k but before hiring this guy, I would definitely check out his portfolio ;) Fantastic price! Mine is charging $2500 for his time only... That includes no photo's or books or anything! |
