What kind of training or educations dose a wedding photographer?

Normally a wedding photographer will spend at least a couple years working as an apprentice to a professional wedding photographer, learning "on the job" for which he/she may eceive very little pay if any. They are doing it for the training and experience, not the immediate pay.
