What is the average cost of a wedding photographer/ videographer in perth (west australia)?

Ok, so just my personal experience....dont listen to the first guy. My wife and I did that when we got married 5 years ago, and we were totally dissappointed. Its just not the same. So scratch the disposable camera idea. I really dont know what photographers go for where you are at. I started my own photography company because I was so dissappointed that I couldnt afford a wedding photographer when I got married, so I started an affordable wedding photography company. Our packages start at about $800. Here in eastern US though I would say the average is about $1,800-$2,000 for the wedding. It pretty much depends on what it is you are looking for. Number of pictures, number of locations, and even number of hours they are going to have to be there. Good luck!
Instead of paying for an expensive wedding photographer, get each of your guests a disposable camera. Then you get a bunch of candid shots from everywhere. Its fun for the guests too.
