Need some unique shots for wedding pictures to give to my photographer??

it really depends on you. Are you/were you in a sorority in college? All the sisters that would be there. Or do you have a grandmother (or great) who is really old and this may be one of the last times to get good pictures of her. At my wedding, my FIL is one of 10 children. Most of them were there so the photographer took several shots of Grandpa with the majority of his children there.

Other than that, what interests you? Do you want a picture of you with bare feet dangling them in a fountain?

I saw a bride who surfed, she brought the surf board and had all the groomsmen hold the board with her sitting on it.

A bride with both her moms if the stepmom and real mom both helped raise you

One bride had all the bridesmaids in fishnets so they all raised up the skirt to show em off, like in a cancan line

The bridesmaids fanning you or groomsmen all taking shots. Are you renting a special car and want pictures of the antique car? What sides of your personality would you like to showcase? Whimsical you could be blowing a pinwheel. Dramatic, you could have a martigras mask.

I have a picture of me reading a book in my dress right before the wedding. I'm always reading! My sister did a shot with her tugging my flowergirls basket away from her and doing some silly poses (while she said It's All About ME!!!--her catchphrase). My bestman is standing by my groom, holding a pocket watch. He looks exasperated from spending all day trying to force my husband to be on time.

I mean really--gotta know you, the location, your personality or an inside joke between you and your bridesmaids...etc in order to give you picture ideas. It's suppose to show your personality.

I like looking at the galleries on other photographer's websites. They normally put their really good/unique stuff up because they're proud of it. Usually the more expensive photographers websites have some really great stuff, and it's easier than flipping through magazines, etc.

get a brideal magizine
tear out the poses you like and hand them to the photographer.

thats what i have people do when i do their pics.

Type in "Wedding Photography" (google or yahoo search) and look around on other photographers sites...that's what I'm doing and I've found a ton of great ideas!
