Wedding Photos...? |
For all those already married, I'm just curious to know how long it took your photographer to get your wedding pictures back to you? I have heard a few people on here say they didn't get their pictures for 3-6 months and I even saw someone say 1 year and I think that is way too long. I'm curious to know because I purchased a few beautiful frames for my mom and maid of honor and want to place the pictures in it for them as their gift but I don't want it to be this long of a wait for their gifts. I know its in the contract and I believe it is 1-2 months (don't know off hand, not in front of it) but I'm just curious to how long it took everyone else to receive theirs as well. It should be in your contract how long the photograper has to give you your photos. If it's not ask them to please amend the contract to include it. From all the photographers I reasearched the average seemed to be guaranteed within 3 months. The women we are going with guaranteed them within 30 days. I haven't been married but i was maid of honor in my best friend's wedding and she has a 4 year old daughter and they wore the same dress, so she got pictures taken about 2 weeks before the wedding (from the same photographer doing her wedding) and had them back in time to frame it and post it at the wedding. it was a beautiful touch. long story short. ask your photographer and if he says that it would take longer than you want you might want to think about getting some cute pictures before the wedding to put in those frames. Ask your photographer! They are the only ones that can tell you. We had a friend who owns their own photographer business and we got all the photos on a CD the same night! No waiting for us. But i do believe it's usually 3-6 months! It depends on the photographer. Some just have a lot of appt I have heard of the next week and like u said up to a year maybe that is something u should ask b4 securing a photographer. Depends on the photographer, mine were ready for me in a week and a half, we got back from our honeymoon and they were ready about 3 days later. He even delivered them to my house. |
