Good photography for a wedding?

i really want o be a photographer, for weddings, but i need to know the best camera to get, if anybody know of any links to find a good camera, because i really need to start practicing, i know i can take good pics, i have been for a while, but i need the best camera i can get, and if anybody has any tips for a wedding photographer then please share thanks in advance for all your help :)

I think you'll do fine with any fairly new digital SLR camera on the market. Nikon and Canon are good options because their lenses are easy to some by and there are third-party lenses that fit. You'll also want to get a lens with a large zoom range and maybe vibration reduction if you can afford it.

Get a Nikon DSLR. Most importantly get the best one you can. I use a D300, and D200 backup. Some will suggest a D3, but it costs $5000. You can get three cameras for the price of that one, or two nice ones and a really nice lens. The mega pixels are great, quality is great, magnesium alloy built. As another person mentioned you can get third party lenses if needed to save money.

Anyway, make sure to get a backup, just in case one goes bad. Also your clients want to know you have a backup as well. Get a nice lens that does wide angle, and a long range zoom.

Also get a website. It will help you a lot.
