What do I need to know about finding a good wedding photographer? |
We're looking for a wedding photographer that is reasonably priced. I know they are all expensive but what should I be looking for? Should I get a package that includes a wedding album or can I take the prints and make one myslef? Thanks for your help! i got married last june and i JUST picked out our pics (sooo embarrassing...time has flown by).....i picked a package that included the cds of pics and did not get an album....i really regretted it so i contacted our photographer and she is going to do one for me.....you can do it yourself (and i was looking forward to it) but the albums, themselves, are about $200.00....i would definately get the album!! make sure that you shop around and look at their portfolios!! i also paid a videographer and regret it....our photographer captured our emotions so well that i don't think we should have paid for the video......i wish i would have had one of my uncles film it! good luck!!! you can also check to see what associations they are affiliated with....like the photojournalistic association (my photographer was part of this and not many are).... My sister used an amazing photographer last year for her destination wedding in Kauai. I am amazed at the deal she got! The photographer is so personable and fun, which is a plus ;) |
