Getting married in Malta - any advice?

Me and my fiance are getting married at the Hilton Hotel in Malta in 2010. We plan on using a wedding planner from maltawed.com who is charging around 拢800 for legalities, ceremony, venue, flowers and photographer, and having our reception in one of the hotel's restaurants as there will only be about 20 of us. Our honeymoon will be another week's stay at the same hotel. Has anyone got married in Malta or used this wedding planner, or does anyone have any general tips for getting married abroad?

I am Maltese!! That's incredible! I would love to get married at home!!!
I live in Canada and don't know much about the over seas weddings. I assume it's the same process as a destintion wedding! I was at a wedding there a few years ago but they were Maltese citizens so I assume it's slightly different!
The fee sounds reasonable. I check out the page and they seem very legit!
It will be just fine!! ;o)
