Can someone please help me find Indiana wedding vendors? |
My fiance and I will be getting married next June in Warsaw, Indiana. We currently live in Wisconsin and I'm having a hard time finding wedding vendors in the Warsaw area. I have been to many websites including TheKnot, WeddingChannel, Bride.com and have searched the yellow pages. We are currently looking for photographers, videographers, dj's, live bands, reception sites and caterers. We're heading down there the weekend of August 8th to start interviewing vendors and I have very little leads.....HELP!! Google 'Warsaw Indiana photographer' or 'Warsaw Indiana DJ' and it comes up with quite a few options. Hope to help! I don't envy your situation. As a vendor myself, I know it's tough figuring out who's good, who's worth the money, and who isn't. My best advice for getting the best & most bang for your buck is to hit a Ft. Wayne Bridal show (Since it's right near Warsaw), the summer ones are usually in August or September. You get to meet them in person, see how good they really are, and you can barter with them (Most ladies don't realize they can save thousands by negotiating competitive rates). Bypass "Theknot," see if you can't take a more hands on approach, and you'll save $$$ and get the best your budget can afford. Hope that helps! Have you been on the local board for Indiana on http://theknot.com/talk and asked the girls there? I usually find them about 10 times more helpful than the vendors recommended on the website... http://www.yellowpages.com/categories/Wa... |
