Wedding photos?!?!?!?!? |
how much did your wedding photographer charge? were the pictures worth it? and what did he/she take pics of?? only ceremony, reception etc My photography is costing $1200 for shooting the whole event, dvds with high res files of the images, an online gallery of proofs, box of printed out proofs, and a $200 credit toward any prints we want to have made. We're getting pics of the whole thing from getting ready to driving off at the end of the night. $1200 is cheap for my area (urban northeast) but I'm getting a deal because the photographer- who is a professional hip hop photographer that moonlights as a wedding photographer- is a friend of ours. $1100: a leather abulm, a cd of proofs, a cd with music, half the pictures printed out, and rights to the pictures. The night of our wedding we also got a cd of the negatives and during the reception he played what he had taken so far. About $1,500 for service and purchase of negatives, and additional for purchasing prints. That cost was low for our area, but the photographer was a friend. He took pictures of the wedding, reception, and post-reception party (the latter as his gift to us). The photographs are beautiful and it was definitely worth every penny. I paid $900 for amazing pictures -- was given the copyright to all photos so I didn't have to pay outrageous amounts to buy them from the photographer. He arrived 2 hours before the wedding, and stayed throughout until after all the important events at the reception. 9k, yes I got all the images and a beautiful album that will last much longer than a scrapbook, They shot everything from getting ready untill the end |
