How much does it generally cost for photography and videography for a wedding?

It depends on where you live. It will be more expensive if you live in a big city as opposed to a small town.

I did a lot of pricing online, adn i saw most packages started at around $2000. I contacted a photographer recommended by a lady at our venue (he is a long-time friend of hers) and asked if we could create our own package or if he was flexible on the price. He worked with us and we got exactly what we wanted out of the package. We saved money by just getting our pictures on a cd and online ordering for our family and friends, with two photgraphers all day. Email a bunch of photographers who have work that you love, and see what they will do for you, whether it is a discount or just a customized package so that you only get what you want. Good luck!

They offer al ot of packages.
Some with only 1 photographer and 1 videographer or 2 photographers and 2 videographers.
Try to work within the budget, tell them how much you can afford and they will help and work something out for you.
Quotations usually starts from P18,000 and up.

2,000 or so...you can get away with less if you put disposable cameras on the tables for everyone to take photos as well

We are spending about 4900 for photo and video

We paid $2,600 for the photographer and $1,900 for the videographer.

my videographer is $7,000 and so is my photographer.. we picked the best package for both.. i think the cheapest package for the photographer was 2,000 but im not sure about the vidoegrapher

I think that $2000 is pretty standard. We completely lucked out with our photographer. The studio was having a big promotional event, and we were able to get a package that normally sells for $3500 for $1000!!! Otherwise, we would have chosen the $1600 package.

It is so dependent on what you want to get out of our photography. Prices are always going to vary depending on additional services, products and travel. Here are a few factors you should think about...

- custom designed wedding albums
- proof CD off EVERYTHING
- magazine style albums
- engagement photography session
- parent albums
- gallery session proofs
- second photographer
- online viewing
- distance away

Think about reputation (testimonials & referrals) as well. A quality wedding photogrpaher is worth every little extra penny. I repeat, EVERY PENNY! LOL :)

Anyway, take some time to think about what you want and ask abour packages and customizing from several wedding photographer options.
