How much did you pay for your wedding??!?

Including rings, Photography,honeymoon,etc??

i think my dads was in the region of 拢20,000 or more... =S!

Ours will be $25-30,000 by the time it's all said and done, but we're having a destination wedding followed by a big reception later in our hometown.

$2500 Canadian for a week in Cuba all inclusive, wedding and photos and rings.

Been married 6 yrs, together 10.

The amount of money spent on weddings don't make the marriage, many people don't realize that. I've seen friends spend 10's of thousands and they're divorced 2 yrs later and still paying off their wedding.

my fiance and i are paying $5000 at most for our wedding - we have cut down on major expenses like designer wedding cake, professionally done flowers, and sit down dinner.
We did go all out on buying my wedding dress, professional photographer and his tux.

25k, we hosted about 200 people to a very traditional wedding. No honeymoon.

I had my wedding 4 weeks ago & we paid not quite $10,000 australian dollars. That also included the honeymoon ($1500 for accommodation) Instead of a resort we rented a holiday penthouse through a real estate agent.
Our rings combined were $1300, that included a ring for my daughter. My dress was bought off the rack for $550. My friend made my daughters to match mine (she was flowergirl) that cost about $50 and I bought my two bridesmaids dresses for $150 on ebay. We hired the mens suits from a decent place that had quality products at a great price. This was found after research & negotiating prices ;o)
Hair & make up cost $160 each, that was pretty average.
We bought plants instead of hiring then, that saved us HEAPS & we bought our flowers for the bouquets from a florist the day before (put them in the fridge for the night) & made our own bouquets. This, believe it or not, for 4 bouquets cost us $30!!!!! We were quoted $120 for each bouquet from a wedding specialist florist!!
We planned everything ourselves, bought most things as opposed to hiring & we are selling what we dont want to regain some cost. We had a celebrant in a park so that saved us quite a bit. We didnt go for a traditional reception venue, rather we opted for a classy hotel with a great package, for 60 people that came to $1900 including a queen size room hire for my husband & I.
Photographer we got lucky with because a friends dad is a professional photographer but because we save 1500 there we managed to have a great honeymoon :o)
Weddings most certainly do not have to be expensive if you do your research & spend the time hunting out the best prices :o) We had all the trimmings of the same wedding as my sisters, except she paid nearly $25,000!!!
Oh yeah...the cake...we just bought an absolutely beautful chocolate mud cake (with decorations) from a bakery instead of a 'proper' wedding cake.
Once you mention the word WEDDING the price seems to go up!! Its a party not a wedding ;o)

20k for the reception and ceremony, including hair, dress, gifts ...everything! we have been very strict with our budget.

i'm getting married in July 2009 and my budget with rings is $12,000.00

It was roughly about 拢2000 (something like $4000)

3000.00 small church wedding and reception for 150, I did most of the work and my parents did the food for me at cost (they have 30 years food service experience, not including the rings, but it did include the dj and the photographer as well
and we did not have a limo but i did have a great honeymoon night at a local resort too married 09/01/07

about 10k, for 200 persons

Ours is in June and will end up being approx. $18,000 (not including honeymoon.)

About $50,000 if you count our honeymoon and rings. Living in a big city isn't cheap :-P

I am a spoiled rotten person and I love having the best. I had a platium wedding, and the total cost was 100K for everything on a island in Hawaii and 75 people were flew in to join us all expemce paid.

In total....with everything....rings, reception, church, honeymoon, the works....(GULP)....$18,000 (give or take a few dollars). So much money for one very QUICK day!!!

We've just worked out our wedding budget and it's gonig to cost at the most NZ$2000.

Mum makes wedding cakes (and decorates them).

The local dress maker has never heard of or seen what I want for my dress so she wants it to be a present from her.

Photos: everyone has digital cameras so I've asked for copies/cd's of the guests photos in leu of a present.

We live in a rural area right on the beach so farmers have donated meat and veges (enough for a big feast for at least 300 guests) We are Maori so we'll be having a big hangi with all the trimmings :)

Most of our families are in the catering business so there's the cooking all done

We're getting married on the beach at my homestead (no fees) and the marriage celebrant is my uncle who says he would be offended if we offered him anything for the privilige.

Our DJ is the music teacher from the local school that I work with.

Because we are both New Zealand Maori we will use my fiance's marae for the reception

My cousin is making my flower arrangements out of flax and other native New Zealand plants, as well as a flax wearable art type thing to go with my wedding dress.

We'll hire the mens suits

The bridesmaids are paying for their dresses

I hand made all of the invitaions with flax paper, forrest green card stock, raffia to wrap them and paua pieces (very nice) which cost me about 20cents per invitation

Dont get me wrong though cause all though it's not alot to spend on a wedding, it wont be "budget" so to speak with all the personal touches that we'll be adding.

So I'm/we're fortunate that we'll be able to afford the big wedding and enjoy it at the same time without having to fork out money for a day that's just going to whizz by.

We are just looking forward to everyone coming together to enjoy our day with us..... cause that's the main thing.

$15,000 for about 100 people

We're estimating about $25,000 for 50 people, that doesn't include rings which was probably another $10,000.

ours was 1500 can but we went the cheap way no photographer and no honey moon we just have a simple cute little wedding it went well u just have watch what u get and spend thats all

My first wedding was $20,000

Second was about $550 because I didnt feel that I need an elabrate wedding. We went to the court house and got married there.

i'm getting married in May. I think it will end up at about 35K when it's all said and done...for 150 people.
