Am I forgetting anything in our budget?

Our budget is $2000 (including the rings AND the honeymoon) and here's how it plays out:

Dress (bought on ebay): $190
Rings (also bought on ebay): $110 total
Tux rentals (groom/best man): $150 total
MOH dress: $8
Invitations (DIY): $20 for 60 invites
Postage: $45
Thank you cards: $5
Photography: $300
Officiant donation: $100
Wedding Cake: $50
Other desserts (we're having a dessert reception and using the desserts as centerpieces): $25
Wedding ware (paper plates and cups, napkins, and plastic forks): $30
Flowers (using some of the church's foliage as well as silks we bought): $60
Favors (donating money to charity in lieu of a favor): $50-100
Honeymoon (cabin for the weekend on the outskirts of town): $350
Reception hall: $475

I won't be wearing any jewelry and I've already taken care of the gifts. I bought them right after they said yes.

What about the rehersal ~ anything planned/cost involved?
Will there be corsages for any of the wedding party/ parents of the couple?
Beverages for reception
Music for the reception?
Whatever you are doing the weekend of your honeymoon, don't forget to include the cost of food, gas, etc.

Looks like you thought of everything else :)

jewelry for yourself, gifts for attendents, dj???

What about food?? Or are you just doing desserts?

I don't see dining out and/or entertainment during the honeymoon.
Drinks and food.
You may need $100, or more, per diem for two.

is the reception hall providing music or dj?

Go to 'The Knot' online
they have a budgeting tool where you type in your total budget and they suggest how much you should spend for each thing. They also include every possible thing you could spend money on for a wedding!

How about the marriage license? Other then the license it's sounds like you have everything planned out very well.

Gifts for your attendants (and parents) and are you having a rehearsal? If so, you might what to provide some food for that. Also, you should have some sort of music for your reception so there won't be any dead air. A CD will be fine.

Are you doing your own hair and makeup? If not this should be added in. What about shoes?

How about the marriage license? Your shoes? Flowers are needed for the groom, and groomsmen, not to mention the mothers.

How about the Wedding Certifcate usually $50.00

Don't forget thank you cards for gifts you may receive and participants in the wedding
You can do it yourself as well

A guest book

cake cutter- make sure its long enough and that when it cuts that it does not squish the cake

Hi.

~ What about a marriage license?
~ Beverages: coffee and punch?
~ What about table coverings? What are you covering the tables with?
~ Are you getting your hair done?
~ Veil and/or tiara?
~ Rehearsal dinner?

I'm not trying to be mean, but if I remember from your other posts, you are hosting 140 (maybe more?) guests. I don't think a $50 cake and $25 for additional sweets is enough do you? Is someone making a big cake for $50? If so, then that is a good deal.

I would eliminate the charity donation (although it sounds nice) and make sure that you have enough food. Also, put out some fruit as not everyone eats sweets. Just an idea.

Your budget looks great and you should be commended for sticking with it! Good for you!

EDIT: You are getting lots of good deals! Good for you! Looks like you may come in right at your budget. That's great. I hope you have a beautiful wedding and a happy marriage.

You don't have to pay for MOH and tux rentals...that is their responsibility, but is very nice you are!

Don't forget about extra $ for tipping for the photographer and
$ to size your dress and rings.
Are you hosting a rehearsal dinner?
Your hair piece, the veil and/or tirara..and getting your hair and makeup done the day of your wedding?

I didn't see Videography in your list? Don't forget pictures are worth a thousand words but Video is priceless. If you're not sure if it's worth it or not, go see some samples and decide for yourself. It's no where near as expensive as your Photographer. Go to http://www.advancedvideo.uni.cc
