JavaScript and CSS experts! Help!?

Okay I've got a hobby photography site that I am constantly trying to make better. I found this fantastic JavaScript photo gallery code that is controlled mainly by CSS - I write my own HTML but CSS and Java are Greek to me.

What I really need is to make it so my photo thumbnails aren't distorted. I have dug in and figured out how to change the overall size and dimension of the thumbnail image (I currently made them completely square, 100x100), but I need to independantly size them or something so that the verticals and horizontals can both keep their correct aspect ratios.

Here is a link to the page with the CSS and images: http://burningtreephotos.com/photos/wedd...

And the JavaScript: http://burningtreephotos.com/photos/wedd...

I REALLY love this layout and want to use it, but if I can only have verticals with skewed horizontals, horizontals with skewed verticals, or all skewed square, I just wont be able to.. *sigh*

I couldn't tell you how to fix that, but if you feel like giving up, there is a freeware program called Jalbum that does the same thing, and is a lot easier to handle (it won't skew your thumbnails either). It's very useful to make quick galleries.

This is probably not the best place to post such a question since each person can only post back on answer. You should try a CSS forum or the such.
Anyway, just from taking a quick look at your CSS nothing stands out in particular. What if you just remove the width: 100px; height: 100px; tags from the thumbnails classes? All of them that is.

squeezies happen when you specify the width and the height... and one or the other is wrong.

just do height, or width on the img tags in your html or your css or even in the javascript.

UPDATE! if they show up 4x6... they aren't really thumbnails!!!

play with width="10%"
