Which film would be best for wedding photography in a low-light setting with artificial light?

Need professinal film that will have great grain quality using artificail available light only

I like Fuji NPH 400 rated @ 320 for weddings (meaning overexpose by 1/3 stop as if ISO 320 film and develop as 400). Combine with a fast lens. If you need a bit more speed Fuji NPZ rated @ 640 is good too, but it's understandably more grainy so I prefer NPH. I find NPH so good, I don't even bother using the slower NPS 160 when I can.

The equivalent Kodak Portra films (eg. 400 NC) are also good pro portrait films, but I happen to have more experience with and prefer the Fuji.

If you shoot any of these films do yourself a favour and get them developed and printed at a pro lab that handles these films regularly. Otherwise you're just wasting money on expensive film and not getting much benefit.

This page has a good discussion of various films:

For low light the overall professional film of choice for me is Kodak portra 800- although if I am using a flash/ studio light combo I can usually swing portra 400NC. So I would say it depends on your artificial light source.
If you are talking about 35 mm There are other things that you need to take into consideration.Film speed, correct f stop setting, and a knowledge of your camera.I think you would be better off with a pro because this is something you only get to do once.Whatever happens GOOD LUCK!
Fuji NPH (400) or NPZ (800) are excellent choices. In kodak I prefer 400UC (richer colors)
Depending on the maximum lens' aperture, I can suggest two but first understand that there are differences in ISO.

If you have a lens with a maximum aperture of f/2.8, I would suggest that you go with the Kodak Porta 800, if the light is really that dim. This is a new formula designed for low light and the fine grain yields fantastic color saturation.

On the other hand, if you have a 50mm f/1.8 (or faster), I'd recommend the ISO 400.
