When researching wedding photography what is more important; quality, or budget? Quality, within your budget. Remember, these pictures are going to last you the rest of your life. They are going to be how you remember the wedding once your memories start to fade. *This* is what you will cherish - not how big your bouquet was, not how many candles you had in your centerpiece, not what color your chair covers were. Both. Figure out how much you're willing to spend and then go for the best quality. Quality, because no matter the budget, the people wanting the photos want good photos that they can look back on from years to come. photographer I have seen a few episodes of 'Judge Judy' where the budget photographers gave inferior quality wedding photos and Judy Judy says "what do you expect at this low budget price...QUALITY.' Case dismissed. for me it was quality, even if i had to do with less pictures due to price. Split the difference. For your portraits hire a professional photographer or a friend who does a great job. For the wedding itself buy several of those $2-5 dollar automatic cameras and place them around the reception. Everyone will take pictures and you'll get unique and fun memories from different point of view. Have fun and good luck! |
